Over the last 5 years, I made it through 249 burgers all in the guise of trying to find one that was great.  That search has taken me to cities like Boston and Philadelphia.  Along the way, I’ve met a lot of really wonderful people and made connections all over the place.  As May 27, 2014 approached, only one thing was certain.  Something had to be done to celebrate the 5 year anniversary of the day this all truly began.  So, along with 5 of the most loyal fans of the search, we headed down to m:brgr to mark this unique occasion.

The Pointe-Saint-Charles district of Montreal is becoming an increasingly popular area when it comes to finding places to eat.  These neighborhoods are becoming the places to go to when it comes to finding those places.  One of the places that’s attracting crowds is a place called Le Diable à Quatre, which touts itself as a modern tavern.

I first visited this location a year ago during my first trip to Ottawa. When I approached the place, I noticed the long line. For the three people working there, I felt that they weren’t being used to their full capacity. You had one person working hard, while the other two wasted a lot of time trying to figure out things. When you’re rushed, it leads to catastrophe and shoddy product.
