One of the best things about searching for burgers is the fact that you never quite know where you’re going to find them.  Sometimes, it’s not quite the end result that matters, but the journey it takes to get there.  What makes this even better is that this latest location marries two things I like a whole lot, burgers and Greek restaurants.  The one place you can find this special burgers is at Milos.

As some of you know, ice cream has become a recent fixture in my excursions.  I have been quite lucky to have been surrounded by a few ice cream experts in recent months.  Those individuals have paved the way for dessert goodness.

This is the first true dessert visit on the annex portion of the GBS. I like ice cream. In the last two years, I’ve really started to get back to having ice cream during warmer days. I’ve been trusting places like Laura Secord, Dairy Queen, and Ben & Jerry’s. Again, this was a suggestion from a colleague who guaranteed we’d like this ice cream. When you enter, you pay for the serving size you want and you pick the flavors you want filled in your cup. So, because of this, the possibilities are endless. The worker at the counter was very cordial and patient as I asked a bunch of uselessly dumb questions. If you’re looking for the best ice cream in Montreal, you have to try this place.

Baci - Chocolate and Nuts (Brown)
Arancia - Orange Sorbet (Yellow)

The Baci tasted wonderful for chocolate ice cream. It took me a while to get to a nut, but when I did, I liked it. The proportion of nuts to chocolate was low, but the taste definitely makes up for it.

The Arancia peaked my curiosity because it was made with orange. Now, I’ve never had sorbet before in my life, but now was as good a time as ever to try. The orange flavor was apparent, but not too overwhelming. Incredibly, the Arancia and Baci mixed well together. Both flavors are definitely worth trying.
