Over the last 5 years, I made it through 249 burgers all in the guise of trying to find one that was great. That search has taken me to cities like Boston and Philadelphia. Along the way, I’ve met a lot of really wonderful people and made connections all over the place. As May 27, 2014 approached, only one thing was certain. Something had to be done to celebrate the 5 year anniversary of the day this all truly began. So, along with 5 of the most loyal fans of the search, we headed down to m:brgr to mark this unique occasion.

In this day and age, to compete with the countless restaurant concepts, you have to do things that will stand out. When you’re thinking about the ‘All You Can Eat’ world, there is a lot of competition and there, you still have to stand out. Under the category of Brazilian Churrasco, Le Milsa provides you with as much meat as you can eat.

In August of 2011, the competition in the Montreal burger landscape is fierce and growing rapidly. Places open and they either thrive or fall by the wayside. I am starting to get genuinely concerned about the sheer amount of places that have opened up in the last year. art:brgr is one of two places that have opened up at virtually the same time, but in vastly different locations. Smack dab in the middle of the Plateau, this location is going to be competing with a lot of very well known and frequented Montreal restaurants.
