After 10 months and 48 burgers, it is finally time to get to the final regular selection of the fifth season of this search. With a lot of things happening on the personal side of my life, I had to rush to finish this season of the search. This has given me the opportunity to try some of the places that I’ve been looking forward to. One of those places is Bar & Boeuf.
The month of June is now behind us and that means that half the year is in the books. With that, I’m getting even closer to unveiling the 250th burger in a search that has officially lasted 5 years.

Boulevard Saint-Laurent is probably one of the most iconic streets on the island of Montréal. While there is a lot going on, there are some stretches of The Main that has very little when it comes to eating. In the last little while, you have a place that is starting to change that assumption and it’s called Pub Sir Joseph.

Ever walk by a place for years and wonder what the inside looked like? There are so many places that can yield that sense of wonderment and the sad thing is that we don’t get to see all those places. So, when you have a chance to set foot inside such a place, you leap at it. This was the case with Chez Alexandre et Fils.

After over 4 years of searching for burgers, I’ve just now been going back to addresses that I’ve been to in the past. It hasn’t happened too much, but I take every opportunity I can to revisit the buildings that once house past burgers. This was the case when I had the chance to have lunch at Via Marcello.
89 De La Commune E.
Metro: Place d’Armes, Champ-de-Mars
Bus: STM 14, 55, 129, 715
Visit: January 20, 2012
I’ve been waiting months to come to this location. I first found out about Taverne Gaspar around the same time I was doing Burger 105 at Méchant Boeuf. It turns out that those two restaurants are part of a family of similar establishments that are all located in the Old-Port area of Montreal. As a matter of fact, you can easily walk from each of their locations within minutes.
