This old fashioned diner is located right near Lafontaine Parc within reasonable walking distance from the Mont-Royal metro station. Once you enter, you’ll immediately notice the see-through shower curtain type separation that takes a little work to get through. You get to seat yourself in this tiny restaurant. The servers are attentive so that was a plus.

Classique L’Anecdote (grand)

I will say that this burger was one of the best of the search up to this point. The double patty burger with mushrooms and bacon may seem imposing, but it really wasn’t. Good from bite one to the final taste.
