This is a restaurant that I wanted to go to for a very long time, ever since I saw the menu that contained many burgers. The only problem was their opening hours. Just recently, this restaurant decided to start doing lunch from Wednesdays to Sunday, which made me really happy.
My visit here was somewhat marred by slow service. After making very quick decisions, we were kept waiting for a very long period of time. Even though the service was nice and cordial, I don’t think no one ever likes waiting. The place was empty at 11:30 and became half full by the time we left at 1.
Burger Classique Double
This burger contains aged cheddar, mayonnaise, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, and bacon.
This is the most normal burger on the menu. Since, I could’ve got it as a single, I decided to supersize my efforts and go with a double meat patty. The double meat patty can either be a good thing or a bad thing. There are very few places that make double burgers that stay together. Unfortunately, this burger did not stay together, as the bottom bun just fell in half. I had to place the burger upside down to prevent further disintegration. The meat was large and fine, which didn’t hurt. The unique feature of this burger was cucumbers instead of pickles. It was fine, but a little unexpected. The downside to having such a unique item in the burger was the fact that the other stars (bacon and cheese) were a little lost in the shuffle. If it wasn’t for the lack of structure, this burger would rank up there. Don’t get me wrong, I was still able to finish without really having to fight. This restaurant also has other very unique sounding burgers that will have me planning another visit soon.
