Haven been taken over by new owners, this restaurant lies in the heart of a neighborhood that I have a certain familiarity with. First of all, the location is pretty good, right at the corner of Parc Avenue. The service is cordial and it wasn’t too busy.

Burger du Nouveau Palais

This burger contains lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cheese, and bacon. The first thing that stands out is the size of the bacon in the burger. The bacon, cooked to my preference, without me asking, is extremely flavorful. The combination of all the ingredients is well done. The burger stays together well and tastes great until the end. The meat, on its own, is quite good, without having to fight to put it down. This, in 2011, has got to be one of the better burgers in the GBS.
