Noted as having the widest variety of poutine in this city, La Banquise has already made an impression on me. Though that impression has been for poutine, I wanted to see how the burger selection measured up.

Costaud Burger

This burger contains onions, tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, cheese, a special house sauce, and bacon. Whenever I see double meat options, I am intrigued. The taste of the burger is quite solid, but nothing too special. The ingredients actually go together quite well. But it should be noted that the tomatoes overwhelmed the taste a bit. The burger, in combination with a poutine is a very large meal to take down. Even hours later, I am still feeling the affects.
