I know what you’re thinking. You must think I’m insane to upload yet another review post. Well, since I’ve been doing them for the last 11 months, it wouldn’t be fair to December if I would just ignore it.
December was a month of reflection. For everyone, we use this month to look back at the last 12 months. I’m like pretty much everyone else. I use this time to go over what I’ve done over the year and to set up goals for a brand new year.
It might not have been a busy month, but here’s what I managed to do over the course of the month of December:
For Burger 170, it was time to find a chicken burger worthy of sharing. Finding this burger wasn’t the easiest task. A lot of people will admit that Montreal doesn’t really have its fair share of chicken burgers around. Going on some customer reviews, I went on a wild goose chase, hoping to see if what was said about Rosty was true. Indeed, what I found was a chicken burger that can stand up to any other burger I’ve had.
2. Crazy Falafel
Ville St-Laurent has never had a really good part of the Burger Search, that is, until now. Boasting a really extensive menu of budget friendly items, Crazy Falafel is a place that is perfect for the Halal crowd. My visit was to see if their burger would stand up. With a strange combination of condiments, I was quite pleased at first. That’s when eating fatigue set in and I was nearly defeated by the burger and poutine duo.
3. Decarie Hot Dog
For a second week in a row, I decided to return to Ville Saint-Laurent to visit an iconic location. If you’re a student at the 2 nearby cegeps, you will no doubt be familiar with Decarie Hot Dog. The whole operation requires the talents of two individuals, who are just as colourful as the new sign.

7. GBS Year in Review: Dish
This year, rather than look back at the Annex restaurant that impressed me, I decided to look back at the individual dishes that left a mark on me.
8. GBS Year in Review: Bacon
I’m obsessed with bacon. Do I need to say any more?

Keeping up a burger blog does not quite work without any pictures. Here are some of the pictures that I consider to be my favorites of 2012.
10. GBS Year in Review: Burgers
This is probably the most important review post I can do at the end of the year. If you only read one of those posts, the one on burgers is probably the way to go.
