m:brgr recently opened in 2008 and is run by the people who are in charge of Moishe’s. The burgers here have been voted among the top lists of the Montreal Mirror for the last few years.
The ordering is completely up to you as there are no combinations pre-made for you unless it is a special. You pick the meat, the bun, and then the toppings. I warn you, this can get quite pricey, especially if you want truffles in your burger.
This burger contains a tomato slice, pickles, caramelized onions, cheddar cheese, and bacon. The thing I like about this ordering method is that I get to choose the entire burger with the exception of the tomato and pickle. The taste was absolutely great. The meat was well cooked and I did not have to fight it whatsoever. The cheese meshed well with the rest of the choices I made. The slight drawback was that the bacon was too hard for my taste.
This, to date, was the most expensive burger visit. The fries, which were not that special, cost four dollars. To be honest, the portion of fries were too light for my taste.
