Le Gourmet Burger is not your typical restaurant, nor is it your typical fast food joint. Rather than order from a menu, you come up to a counter where you make your selection and pay. So, it’s different to pay before you consume anything.
Ordering isn’t as cut and dry as looking at a menu. First of all, you have the choice of the kind of meat or vegetarian selection. Each ingredient you add to your burger increases the price slightly. For example, to have cheddar cheese, it would be a dollar more. Ingredients vary from simple items to more luxurious items that you wouldn’t think would go with a burger. Once the order is place, you wait and then dine.
Being the interested person I was, the website was my point of reference for the menu choices. The staff was kind and courteous. What surprised me was that I didn’t think that I was charged tax for my order. So money was saved, which is a good thing.
Each burger comes with tomatoes, lettuce, and caramelized onions. I decided to add cheddar cheese and my absolute necessity, bacon. The burger had a very unique taste. It wasn’t very difficult to eat at all. All the chosen ingredients meshed rather well. The burger held together quite solidly and was satisfying.
I also need to note that the fries were quite good and the home-made iced tea also was pretty unique.
